One to Buy: Silver 1995 Nissan R33 Skyline GT-R on Nismo LM GT4s

There’s a strong case that the R33 remains Nissan’s best looking Skyline GT-R. However, in some cases OEM examples can definitely look a little ‘under-wheeled’.
As you would expect from a car of this nature, the choice of after-market rims extends into literally hundreds. Right at the top is race-proven equipment from the likes of BBS and Nismo.
Hitting the sweet spot for us right now is a car that perfectly exemplifies how good the R33 looks on a set of high end rims. This car, chassis BCNR33001460, will be going under the hammer at Mecum’s Las Vegas sale on November 15th.
A Silver example manufactured in January 1995, the current owner of chassis ‘1460’ has married the car with all-black Nismo LM GT4 wheels which were shod with new tyres in 2023. Also present is a rare factory-option MOMO R33 GT-R steering wheel and a CUBE Speed short shift kit.
We don’t know much else about the car, but it looks nice and straight. Mecum have it down as original condition with a clean Japanese Car VX report (it was imported to the United States in July ‘22).
The odometer currently reads a little over 115,000km.
