One to Buy: 2700km Chocolate Brown 2012 Bugatti Veyron Super Sport
/ Ben Tyer
Five years after Bugatti started production of their record-breaking Veyron, the Molsheim firm introduced a third variant to accompany the original fixed-head iteration and open-top Grand Sport.
Unveiled at The Quail in Monterey during August 2010, the new Veyron Super Sport boasted an even more powerful engine, stiffer suspension, improved aero and uprated cooling solutions.
48 Super Sports were built between 2010 and 2014 and today this limited run are generally considered the ultimate expression of the Veyron theme owing in part to a 268mph run at Ehra-Lessien a month before it was unveiled.
Currently on offer at the Joe Macari showroom in central London is number 38 of the 48 Supoer Sports constructed.
Completed in 2012, chassis 38 was configured in the unusual colour scheme of Chocolate Brown with Black trim accents and a two-tone Cognac over Brown cockpit.
Originally delivered to Switzerland (one of six), chassis 38 has covered just 2700km from new and will be sold with a fresh service from Bugatti.
