HISTORY OF CHASSIS GT39099
Chassis GT39099 was the only EB110 GT that left the factory painted Bianco Monaco. Its interior was upholstered in two-tone grey.
The car was reputedly ordered via Bugatti boss Romano Artioli’s company, Autexpo in Bolzana. Following its homologation on May 10th 1995, GT39099 was dispatched to Bugatti’s Monegasque distributor, Monte-Carlo Royal Motors, from where it was purchased a few months later by renowned French collector, Paul Emile Bessade.
The uniquely appointed EB110 joined Bessade’s substantial fleet, which included some of the most important French cars ever built. It was a frequent attendee at Bugatti Owner’s Club gatherings and, in November 1998, the car was featured in Auto Retro magazine.
Bessade retained chassis GT39099 until February 2025 when Artcurial sold the white EB110 at their Retromobile sale in Paris with a little over 19,000km on the odometer.
