VIN: Little Tony's Lamborghini Miura P400 chassis 3252
Chassis 3252 was one of 275 Miuras built to the original P400 specification.
Configured in Bianco with a Nero interior and left-hand drive, it was the 99th Miura completed.
3252 was dispatched to its first owner on December 18th 1967. The buyer was 26 year old Sammarinese singer and actor, Antonio Ciacci.
Based in San Marino, Ciacci was better known by his stage name, Little Tony.
Ciacci rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s as the lead singer of Little Tony & His Brothers. He then worked as a solo singer and had his first Italian number one record in 1962.
During the 1960s Little Tony appeared in over 20 movies and became a star in the musicarelli genre. Throughout this period he also continued to record regularly; 1967 was significant for his biggest hit, Cuore Matto, which stayed at number one for nine consecutive weeks and sold in excess of six million copies.
Ciacci took delivery of his white Miura at the end of this most successful year.
3252 was registered on the San Marino licence plate RSM 4857 and joined a fleet of high end motor cars in Little Tony’s collection. During the 1960s he also owned a Bizzarrini GT5300 Strada, a Ferrari 250 GT SWB Spyder California, a Ferrari 330 GT, a Ferrari 275 GTB, Jaguar E-type 4.2 Roadster and several Cadillac convertibles.
These were subsequently followed by a Ferrari 365 GTB/4 and a Miura S (chassis 4797).
Little Tony kept his white Miura until May 1969 at which point it was sold to Giuseppe Dalbagno of Bologna.
3252 was subsequently registered BO 376374 and Dalbagno reputedly kept hold of the car until the late 1990s.
