VIN: the Reza Rashidian Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary chassis KLA12717

HISTORY OF CHASSIS KLA12717

One of 67 right-hand drive Countach Anniversaries built, chassis KLA12717 was ordered by London-domiciled Iranian real estate magnate, renowned watch collector and gentleman racing driver, Reza Rashidian.

The car was configured in Rosso Perlato with Champagne upholstery, contrast Rosso piping and no rear spoiler. It was dispatched on July 19th 1989 and arrived at Portman Lamborghini in London a few days later.

KLA12717 was the last of four red Countach Anniversaries that were registered on July 31st 1989 with the consecutively issued number plates G451 TYU to G454 TYU. It is pictured here soon after delivery during a round of the 1989 Formula Vauxhall Lotus Championship.

Precisely how long Rashidian owned the car is unknown. He later acquired the ex-Shah of Iran Lamborghini Miura P400 SV/J chassis 4934.
