History of chassis 9113600015

Chassis 9113600015 was the fifth of ten 911s that were either Carrera RS prototypes or show cars owned and operated by the Porsche factory.

It was built to M471 Sport / Lightweight specification and painted Grand Prix White with Blue graphics and wheels. Like a couple of the other early works cars, 9113600015 came with an unusual side decal treatment.

Upon completion in July 1972, 9113600015 starred in a series of publicity shots at Porsche’s Weissach test track. Afterwards it was registered S-04755 and undertook press and promotional duties.
