One to Buy: Nero Nemesis 9k from new 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago LP670-4 SV

As the Murcielago reached the end of its production life, Lamborghini decided to introduce a limited run special that revived the firm’s SV moniker previously attached to some of its most revered models.

Following in the footsteps of the Miura SV and Diablo SV, the new Murcielago LP670-4 SV was the fastest, most extreme road-going iteration of Lamborghini’s early 21st century flagship supercar.

Offered exclusively in Coupe trim, the SV featured an array of significant enhancements to include a stiffer, lighter chassis, a 5% power boost, the normally optional carbon brakes and front axle lift fitted as standard, new wheels and tyres, a revised aero kit, a simplified sports-tuned interior and 100kg of weight savings.

Although a production run of 350 cars was anticipated, the depressed post 2008 financial crash economy resulted in just 186 examples of the Murcielgao SV having been produced between 2009 and 2010.

Currently on offer at the Cats Exotics showroom in Lynwood, Washington, is a superbly equipped example of one of these ultra rare Lamborghinis.

Configured in the highly desirable colour combination of matt black Nero Nemesis (an expensive option unique to the SV), the car’s interior was upholstered with black alcantara trim and silver stitching. SV number 115 was further specified with the optional large SV side logos in white, the AeroPack, a fire extinguisher, silver brake calipers and the Kenwood infotainment system.

Having covered a little under 9000 miles from new, chassis 115 comes complete with a fully documented and up-to-date service record.
