VIN: Lamborghini Countach Quattrovalvole chassis JLA12294
History of chassis JLA12294
Chassis JLA12294 was a left-hand drive Countach Quattrovalvole built with side skirts.
It was configured in Rosso paint with Nero upholstery and Rosso seat piping. Unusually, the car was not originally specified with a rear spoiler.
The red Countach was dispatched from the factory on December 28th 1987 to a dealer in Rome.
By the middle of 1989, the car had found its way to the UK. In June of that year, it was registered on the Liverpool plate E697 BGJ.
The car is depicted here at a Castle Combe track day in the spring of 1990.
Later in the 1990s, JLA12294 was re-registered B4 ULL.
It is pictured above wearing this plate at a Goodwood track day in 1997. A year earlier, the car had appeared on the same plate in the Jeremy Clarkson video Clarkson: Unleashed on Cars.
JLA12294 was subsequently featured in the May 2001 edition of Classic & Sportscar magazine.
