History of chassis 30020

Of the 37 Zagato-bodied Aston Martin V8 Volantes produced, chassis 30020 was the only example painted Pastello Bianco. The interior was upholstered in Burgundy with White piping. The car was also configured in right-hand drive with a black roof and manual gearbox.

Chassis 30020 was dispatched to the Murray Motor Company in Edinburgh on April 20th 1989. That August it was registered G557 CSF.

Four years later, the unique Zagato was sold by ADT Auctions in Blackbushe, Camberley. It had covered just a couple of hundred miles and was purchased by Bramley Motor Cars in Guildford.

These photographs were taken at Bramley in the summer of 1993, since which time the car has been repainted silver.
