HISTORY OF CHASSIS 30036

Chassis 30036 was one of 37 Aston Martin V8 Volantes built with coachwork by Zagato and one of nine completed during the final year of production: 1989. It was configured in Litchfield Black with Black upholstery, right-hand drive and manual transmission. One other Zagato Volante was completed to a similar specification: chassis 30042, which Aston Martin also completed in 1989.

Prior to this pair of Litchfield Black examples, a trio of Vulcan Black cars had emerged during 1988.

At Aston Martin Works Service, chassis 30036 was uprated with the popular front end styling and tuned engine from the Vantage Zagato. The car is depicted here at Bramley Motor Cars in Guildford during late 1992, at which point it was on the registration 50 NN.
