History of chassis 1120106

Chassis 1120106 was a first generation Countach (LP400) of which 157 were built including around 20 in right-hand drive. The car was configured with Arancio paint and a Senape interior.

On June 26th 1975, chassis 1120106 was dispatched to Lamborghini main dealer, Berlinetta Italia in Sutton, Surrey. It was registered RU 27 in July and then delivered to its first owner.

In August 1977, the car appeared on the front cover of Thoroughbred & Classic Cars.

By the time it was featured in Classic & Sportscar (May 1982 edition), 1120106 had been re-registered 3 DUU.

In 1986, the Countach was sold to Richard Earl who had Portman Lamborghini carry out a sympathetic refurbishment.

In 1990, Richard Earl took delivery of a Countach 25th Anniversary (chassis KLA12958) that he ordered in a colour scheme to match his LP400.
