History of DLA12563

Chassis DLA12563 was bought new by Ernie Marshall via Portman Lamborghini on George Street in London. It was dispatched from the factory on March 29th 1983 and was one of 37 Countach 5000 S delivered to the UK in right-hand drive.

Marshall, a builder from Cornwall, configured the car in Rosso with Panna interior and the optional rear spoiler. It was first registered ELN 503Y in July of 1983.

Ernie Marshall kept DLA12563 until August 1985. At this point he took delivery of a yellow Countach Quattrovalvole to replace it (chassis FLA12848). The Quattrovalvole was in turn superceded by a red Countach Anniversary in November 1988 (chassis KLA12464).

Since Marshal’s ownership, DLA12563 has worn myriad plates to include 87 JOB and VFS 919 as depicted here.
