Following on from the 13 Aventador-based Venenos produced in 2013 to celebrate Lamborghini’s 50th anniversary as an auto maker, the company released another super high end special to commemorate the 100th year since the birth of company founder, Ferrruccio Lamborghini.

The resultant Centenario broke cover at Geneva in March 2016. Based on Aventador SVJ underpinnings, it featured a handsome new body and interior plus centre-lock five-spoke forged alloy wheels with exposed carbonfibre cooling blades.

Other hitherto unseen features on a Lamborghini included a triple outlet exhaust, a next generation infotainment system and rear-wheel steering to improve low-speed manoeuvrability.

With its 6.5-litre 759bhp normally-apisrated V12, the Centenario could hit a top speed of 217mph and 0-62mph in just 2.8 seconds.

Five months after the Centenario debuted, Lamborghini presented a Roadster version at the Pebble Beach Concours d’Elegance (in August 2016). Aside from a reinforced chassis to compensate for the lack of a roof (which resulted in a slight weight gain of 50kg), the two cars were otherwise identical.

20 Coupes and 20 Roadsters were built between 2017 and ‘18, all of which were pre-sold to VIP customers via invitation.

Currently on offer at the Al Ain Class showroom in Dubai is this spectacular Centenario Roadster from 2018. Finished in grey with orange highlights and a matching interior, it is presented in mint condition with just delivery mileage from new.
