VIN: Lamborghini Diablo SE30 Jota chassis RLA12150
History of chassis RLA12150
Lamborghini built 150 examples of the limited edition Diablo SE30. 133 of these were left-hand drive and 17 were right-hand drive.
This car was the last of all.
RLA12150 was configured in left-hand drive with Bianco paint. The interior was trimmed in Burgundy alcantara with white alcantara seat inserts, white piping and white carpet.
In addition to its unique colour scheme, RLA12150 was equipped with the high performance Jota kit which had been developed by Lamborghini Engineering who managed the firm’s Formula 1 engine programme. The name of the kit was a nod to the experimental department’s legendary Miura-based Jota hot rod of 1970.
The Jota kit for the SE30 included a tuned 595bhp engine, a competition exhaust system and custom twin-scoop engine cover.
After RLA12150 was photographed with its assembly crew, it was dispatched from the factory on February 3rd 1996.
The car made its way to the UK where it was registered TOF 1E. It is depicted here at the Goodwood Festival of Speed in 2000.
Since then, RLA12150 is understood to have been exported to the Middle East.
