One to Buy: 700 mile Special Caribbean Pearl 2024 Aston Martin Valour
/ Ben Tyer
Of the myriad classic-inspired low volume specials produced by Europe’s most esteemed manufacturers during the last few years, our favourite is the epic Aston Martin Valour.
In a similar fashion to the one-off Victor of 2021, the Valour was a modern twist on the spectacular V8 Vantage manufactured between 1977 and 1990. At the Valour’s launch in July 2023 a production run of 110 cars was announced to celebrate Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary, all of which were sold within two weeks of the announcement.
In addition to the Valour’s handsome looks and limited production status, a large part of the car’s desirability was to do with its intoxicating specification; it mixed a carbonfibre body with a twin turbocharged 705bhp 5.2-litre V12 and at the time was the only front-engined V12 sports car offered with a manual gearbox.
With such a small production run and an inherent desirability lacking in so many of the frequently vulgar supercars of the modern era, it seems unlikely that more than a handful Valours will make it on to the open market in the near future.
However, currently on offer with Aston Martin specialist Nicholas Mee in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, is arguably one of the best looking Valours constructed.
Configured in the fabulous colour scheme of Special Caribbean Pearl with Onyx Black and Sahara Tan upholstery, this one owner car has covered just 700 miles and is presented in as-new condition complete with all of its original accompaniments.
