One to Buy: 700 mile Special Caribbean Pearl 2024 Aston Martin Valour (SOLD)

Of the myriad classic-inspired low volume specials produced by Europe’s most esteemed manufacturers during the last few years, our favourite is the epic Aston Martin Valour.

In a similar fashion to the one-off Victor of 2021, the Valour was a modern twist on the spectacular V8 Vantage manufactured between 1977 and 1990. At the Valour’s launch in July 2023 a production run of 110 cars was announced to celebrate Aston Martin’s 110th anniversary, all of which were sold within two weeks of the announcement.

In addition to the Valour’s handsome looks and limited production status, a large part of the car’s desirability was to do with its intoxicating specification; it mixed a carbonfibre body with a twin turbocharged 705bhp 5.2-litre V12 and at the time was the only front-engined V12 sports car offered with a manual gearbox.

With such a small production run and an inherent desirability lacking in so many of the frequently vulgar supercars of the modern era, it seems unlikely that more than a handful Valours will make it on to the open market in the near future.

However, currently on offer with Aston Martin specialist Nicholas Mee in Hatfield, Hertfordshire, is arguably one of the best looking Valours constructed.

Configured in the fabulous colour scheme of Special Caribbean Pearl with Onyx Black and Sahara Tan upholstery, this one owner car has covered just 700 miles and is presented in as-new condition complete with all of its original accompaniments.

Reprinted below is Nicholas Mee’s description:

We are delighted and excited to offer for sale for the first time, this spectacular 2024 Aston Martin Valour, believed one of only 20 UK specified and destined examples built and the first to be publicly offered for sale, in the UK.

Inspired by the bespoke 1 of 1 Aston Martin Victor, produced by Aston Martin’s Q division, the Valour’s limited run of 110 cars, created to celebrate Aston Martin’s 110-year history, sold out within two weeks of its official launch in late 2023. We are delighted to offer this exquisite example, in ‘as new’ condition, with just 700 miles covered from new.

Finished in Q division Special Caribbean Pearl, a colour choice popular in Aston Martin’s golden era of late 1960’s production, with a bespoke Onyx Black and Sahara Tan, hide and Alcantara interior.

Powered by the sonorous and powerful 5.2 litre, twin turbo V12 Aston Martin engine, tuned to produce 705bhp and 550lb ft of torque, being transmitted to the road through a 6-speed manual transmission. The Valour offers supercar performance, with analogue involvement, whilst being highly usable.

Inside the cabin, the star of the show is the manual transmission gear lever, crafted in billet aluminium. Combining of cutting edge materials, such as lightweight mokume carbon fibre, used for the door cards, centre console, transmission tunnel, fascia trim and performance seats, with the traditional touches, personalisation and craftmanship Aston Martin is known for, the interior of the Valour is a very special place to be, whilst offering the modern practicality we have all become accustomed to.

Supplied in ‘as new’ condition, with the exterior protected from new by full body PPF, this alluring car carries the balance of Aston Martin manufacturer’s warranty through to February 2027 and is supplied with all of its original factory accessories and a Valour tailored indoor car cover. A highly relevant cherished registration number completes the package.
