History of chassis ELA12731

Chassis ELA12731 was a left-hand drive Countach 5000 S supplied new to Sheikh Abdullah bin Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the second son of the King of Bahrain.

It was configured in Nero with a Panna interior and the optional rear spoiler. The Sheikh also requested gold wheels, gold tail badging and gold nose-mounted intake grilles.

Lamborghini completed ELA12731 on May 7th 1984 and, for the first few years of its life, the handsome black Countach spent most of its time in the UK wearing a ‘2838’ plate of unknown origin. It is depicted here at a Castle Combe track day in 1988.
