History of chassis DLA12654

Of the 37 Countach 5000 S built in right-hand drive, one of the lowest mileage and most rarely seen examples was chassis DLA12654.

Configured in Nero with a Panna interior and the optional rear spoiler, DLA12654 was dispatched from the factory on December 16th December 1983.

It was supplied via Portman Garage in London to Barry Peng and registered on the London number plate, A400 YMH. Barry Peng reputedly took delivery on June 1st 1984.

One of the car’s rare public appearances early in its life was at the Ferrari Owners Club Concours d’Elegance at Brocket Hall in the summer of 1990 (as depicted here).

By the time it was offered for sale in 2010, the car had travelled a little over 4000 miles.
