History of chassis DLA12619

Chassis DLA12619 was a left-hand drive Countach 5000 S configured in one of the most popular colour schemes of the period: Bianco with Bianco leather, matching Bianco wheels and Nero carpet. Like so many Countach of the era, it was also specified with the expensive rear spoiler option.

DLA12619 was dispatched on July 29th 1983 to the Emilian Auto dealership in Bologna. On June 1st 1984 it was registered to its first owner, Edwardo Ortuzar, via the Lamborghini dealer in Monaco.

At some point during the next couple of years, the triple white Countach departed for the USA and spent time in Beverly Hills prior to heading for the UK in late 1988. Soon after arrival, DLA12619 was registered B602 AHX in January 1989. It is depicted here at a London dealer in early 1990 - the peak of the supercar price boom.

The car remained in the UK for the next 20 or so years, passing through the hands of several owners, before being exported to Luxembourg by which time it had accumulated a little under 23,000km.
