One to Buy: 109km Lunar White 2022 Aston Martin Valkyrie

Of all the ultra high end supercars produced in recent years, our favourite at Supercar Nostalgia is the Adrian Newey-designed Aston Martin Valkyrie.

In addition to a beauty unmatched by its contemporaries, the Valkyrie’s specification and dynamics put it head and shoulders above anything else available at the time.

Whether it comes to be regarded quite so highly by the wider market remains to be seen, but we think the Valkyrie is in many respects right up there with the Ferrari 250 GTO and McLaren F1. If only Aston Martin had elected to take the Valkyrie racing in the World Endurance Championship...

Set to go under the hammer with RM Sotheby’s in Dubai on December 1st is an effectively brand new example of the Valkyrie in one of the best configurations imaginable.

Completed on October 19th 2022 and delivered to Japan, chassis 90 (of 150) was built in Lunar White with red highlights and brake calipers, a gloss carbon roof panel and Satin Black Magnesium wheels. Optional extras included the polished carbon engine plenum, an Inconel exhaust system with black finishers and a gloss carbon engine cover.

Inside, racing-style seats were trimmed in Pure Black Deboss Alcantara and there are Twill Satin carbonfibre roof inserts, optional six-point race harnesses, red anodised switchgear and Spicy Red stitching.

Having covered just 109km in total (84km since a service in November last year), this beautiful Valkyries is unsurprisingly presented in as-new condition throughout.
