VIN: Aston Martin V8 Vantage Zagato chassis 20038
History of chassis 20038
Aston Martin built 50 Zagato-bodied V8 Vantage production cars: 29 were right-hand drive and 21 left-hand drive.
Chassis 20038 was one of those right-hand drive cars. It left the factory with a manual gearbox and an unusual one-off colour scheme: Azzuro Chiaro Variante Pervinca with a Magnolia interior.
The car was first registered E606 KYH in August 1987.
It is depicted here at the showrooms of Aston Martins Sales Limited in Knightsbridge in 1990.
During the early 1990s, chassis 20038 was converted to left-hand drive and exported to Sweden.
