Art & Cars: Erich Strenger - the Art of Porsche
Between 1951 and 1987, freelance graphic designer, Erich Strenger, created the Porsche victory posters that helped define the marque.
Displayed in Porsche showrooms and workshops, these posters portrayed the firm’s glory moments in a modern style that often incorporated a country’s colours and flags.
Strenger also designed sales catalogues, manuals and advertisements for Porsche and supervised the production of ‘Christophorus’ magazine as head of graphics.
