History of chassis KLA12903
Chassis KLA12903 was one of 67 right-hand examples of the Countach Anniversary built.
It was dispatched from the factory on January 31st 1990 and delivered to the UK Lamborghini distributor, Portman of London.
KLA12903 was ordered by British-Iranian businessman, Ali Taefi, of Earlgate Properties, Warrington Gardens, London, W9.
Prior to KLA12903, Taefi owned a handsome Acapulco Blue Countach Quattrovalvole which had been delivered in mid 1987 (chassis GLA12942).
Mr Taefi specified his Countach Anniversary in the popular colour scheme of Nero with Bianco upholstery, Nero piping and Nero carpet. Unlike his Quattrovalvole, KLA12903 was ordered without the heavy and expensive rear spoiler option.
The black Anniversary was subsequently registered 2 OT. Over the next few years it was seen frequently in and around London, as depicted here.
