History of chassis KLA12814

Although white had been one of the most popular exterior colours for a Lamborghini Countach during the early and mid 1980s, by the time the 25th Anniversary arrived, Bianco had suddenly become a much less common choice.

Less than ten of the 67 right-hand drive Anniversaries were originally painted white, one of which was chassis KLA12814. The first owner, Steve Forster, specified a blue interior with white piping and no rear spoiler.

KLA12814 was dispatched from the factory on October 11th 1989. It arrived at the UK concessionaire, Portman Lamborghini, a few days later. From October 19th to the 29th, the car was displayed at the London Motor Show which took place at Earls Court.

Afterwards, KLA12814 was registered 8789 SF.

Over the next few years, Forster and his uniquely appointed Countach were regular attendees at Lamborghini Owners Club events and track days. The car also appeared in the Chris Bennett book Lamborghini Countach.
