History of chassis KLA12493
Chassis KLA12493 was one of 67 right-hand drive Countach 25th Anniversaries built between 1988 and 1990.
It was configured in one of the best colours for these last-of-the line-examples: Blu Acapulco with Panna leather upholstery.
Other aspects of the specification included Blu piping, Blu upper dash and Blu carpet. The car was configured without the optional rear wing and looked all the better for it. One other right-hand drive Countach was built to an identical specification: chassis KLA12856 in 1989.
KLA12493 was signed off on December 15th 1988 and dispatched to Lamborghini’s UK importer, Portman in London. It was registered F846 PYN in January 1989 and is depicted here at Portman’s George Street showroom in early 1990.
The car has not been seen in public for many years or on the road since 2008.
