VIN: Ernie Marshall's Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary chassis KLA12464
History of chassis KLA12464
KLA12464 was one of 67 Countach Anniveraries built in right-hand drive.
It was configured in one of the most popular colour schemes for these cars: Rosso Perlato paint with Bianco upholstery.
KLA12464 was ordered by Cornish builder and director of the DownDerry Construction Group, Ernie Marshall. It replaced Marshall’s yellow Countach Quattrovalvole (chassis FLA12848).
The pearl red Anniversary was optioned with the expensive rear spoiler and red piping for the seats. It was dispatched on November 22nd 1988 and delivered to the UK Lamborghini distributor, Portman.
Soon after arrival in the UK, KLA12464 was registered F572 PYP.
Ernie Marshall was a frequent attendee at Lamborghini Owners Club events and southern track days. His Countach Anniversary is depicted here at Castle Combe in spring 1990.
