One to Buy: UNICO reimagined 2006 Pagani Zonda Riviera (Zonda F Coupe)

Through Pagani’s UNICO aftersales programme, Zonda owners can have their car re-engineered and completely transformed to a custom specification.

A perfect example of such a complete rebirth is chassis ZA9C820C10SF76069 which started life in 2006 as a Zonda F Coupe.

More recently, ‘069’ returned to the Atelier in San Cesario sul Panaro where it was reimagined as the uniquely appointed Zonda Riviera in a perfect embodiment of the extraordinary UNICO process.

The chassis was stripped bare and meticulously prepared. The bodywork was completely redesigned to incorporate Pagani's latest aero which included installation of a roof-mounted snorkel, a rear deck shark fin, a new front clam with canards and a large 760-style rear wing.

To reflect ‘069’s Riviera identity, the beautiful pearl white, blue and exposed carbonfibre body was combined with deep blue leather and alcantara upholstery.

The naturally aspirated 7.3-litre V12 is paired with a seven-speed sequential gearbox.

‘069’ is presented in as-new condition complete with dedicated Zonda Riviera leather and carbon fibre fitted luggage. It heads to auction at RM Sotheby’s Abu Dhabi sale on December 5th.

One to Buy: 8000km #16 of 25 Bianco Benny 2006 Pagani Zonda F Coupe

We do love a Pagani Zonda here at Supercar Nostalgia, but these things are now prohibitively expensive.

Set to go under the hammer at RM Sotheby’s sale in Paris on February 5th is an 8000km 2006 Zonda F Coupe. The estimate? An extraordinary €9.5m to €12m.

This is number 16 of the 25 Zonda F Coupes built.

Launched at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005, the F was the fourth iteration of the Zonda theme and ushered in further optimised aero, increased engine output and a tuned / reinforced chassis. A Roadster version was unveiled twelve months after the Coupe at Geneva in March 2006. Pagani built 25 examples of each body style for a combined run of 50 vehicles.

As for Coupe number 16 (chassis ‘76071’), it was delivered in December 2006 to a customer from Monaco who specified Bianco Benny pearl white paint with Blue leather upholstery (pleasingly the same configuration it retains today).

The most recent custodian (from Denmark) has owned #16 since February 2015. In December 2018, the car was fitted with a new clutch and flywheel (€23,000). In April 2024, it returned to Pagani of Copenhagen for comprehensive maintenance (€10,300).

We think the F Coupe is the sweet spot of the Zonda line and, with its gorgeous original configuration, number 16 really is best of the best.

One to Buy: Unique 2014 Pagani Zonda 760 LM Roadster

Even though it had to compete with some super high end rivals from the likes of Ferrari, Lamborghini, Porsche, McLaren, Bugatti and Koenigsegg, the Pagani Zonda has seemingly come to be regarded as arguably the most sought after automotive creation of the 21st century.

140 Zondas were eventually completed during around a decade-and-a-half in production, a figure that included a dizzying array of special editions and even some true one offs. Many were also returned to Pagani for customisation by later owners.

A car that falls into both the last two of those categories is chassis ‘76048’ which is set to go under the hammer at RM Sotheb’s auction in Dubai on December 1st.

Set to realise an astonishing USD $12m, 76048 started life as a Zonda S 7.3 Roadster. It was then sent back to Pagani for a complete rebuilt to 760 LM Roadster trim on behalf of the consigning owner for whom a matching 760 LM Coupe was also completed.

Configured in exposed carbonfibre with green highlights over charcoal alcantara upholstery with green stitching, one of the most striking aspects unique to these LM specials were custom headlight clusters designed to mimic contemporary Le Mans Prototypes. Elsewhere, Pagani included a variety of Cinque, Tricolore, and Zonda R features.

Unlike many Zondas, chassis 76048 has been regularly exercised since its 2014 revamp with 28,500km currently showing on the odometer.

One to Buy: 1 of 1 700km from new 2017 Pagani Zonda 760 Roadster Diamante Verde

As Zonda production approached its much-delayed conclusion, Pagani inevitably began to receive an influx of requests from customers who wanted increasingly individual examples of what had come to be regarded as one of the 21st century’s most sought after and valuable motor cars.

To satisfy these ultra wealthy buyers, Pagani created the 760 series, a run of uniquely appointed Zondas that featured all the latest, greatest equipment with each vehicle built to a one-off specification precisely tailored to the customer’s desires.

Offered in both Coupe and Roadster trim, buyers could order their 760 series Zonda as either a brand new car or have an existing chassis brought up to this latest specification.

Currently on offer at the Mechatronik showroom in Pleidelsheim is the last scratch built Zonda 760 completed: the Diamante Verde.

This one-off Roadster was completed with an array of custom bodywork features (like an LM front clip and front fender extensions) along with a unique green-flecked visible carbonfibre body with matching green coachlines. Inside, the cockpit was a mix of black leather with contrast green stitching, more visible carbon plus a sprinkling of charcoal alcantara suede.

Having covered a mere 700km in the hands of two owners, this spectacular machine represents a rare opportunity to buy a one-off Zonda in as-new condition.

One to Buy: ex-Geneva Motor Show 2007 Pagani Zonda F

The F was the fourth production iteration of Pagani’s much-heralded Zonda supercar and made its world debut at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2005.

Named in honour of Horacio Pagani’s fellow countryman, five-time Formula 1 World Champion Juan Manuel Fangio, the Zonda F ushered in several new features focused on weight saving, increased rigidity, airflow optimisation and improved output.

The F’s aero kit included a bigger chin splitter, new rear spoiler and reconfigured diffuser. Improved cooling solutions were also incorporated along with single-piece exposed carbonfibre headlight shrouds and new mirrors mounted atop the front fenders.

Currently on offer with DK Engineering in Chorleywood, Hertfordshire, is this one-of-one Zonda F that originally served as Pagani’s salon car at the Geneva Motor Show in March 2007.

Configured in the stunning colour scheme of Blu Monte Carlo with special order Nero bull leather upholstery, it also came with milled wheels that were only fitted to a pair of subsequent F Coupes.

Pagani sold the car to its second owner in 2013 who commissioned the factory to upgrade the diffusers, rear spoiler and exhaust to Cinque specification.
