VIN: the Goran Strok Lamborghini Countach 25th Anniversary chassis KLA12463
History of chassis KLA12463
Chassis KLA12463 was the second Countach Anniversary imported to the UK and one of 67 right-hand drive examples built.
Dispatched on October 27th 1988, KLA12463 was configured in an identical specification to the first UK-bound example (KLA12462): Rosso Perlato with Panna upholstery, Rosso piping and no rear spoiler.
The brand new car was registered F928 OYR in November 1988 and delivered by the UK Lamborghini distributor, Portman in London, to its first owner, Hotelier and former amateur racing driver, Goran Strok.
At the time, Strok was the custodian of Miura SV chassis 4828. He retained the red Countach until the early 1990s at which point it was sold to Philip Davies in Wales who had a rear spoiler installed.
KLA12463 is depicted here at Lamborghini Great Britain’s presentation of the brand new Diablo SE30 Jota in mid 1995.
