Car Spotting: Bucking the trend - Argento & Grigio Ferrari Testarossas
Over 7000 Ferrari Testarossas were constructed between 1984 and 1991 with the overwhelming majority painted Rosso Corsa.
In stark contrast to the present day silver and grey were rarely seen back in the eighties, but there is no doubt Ferrari’s Argento (silver) and Grigio (grey) looked stunning on the Testarossa. Indeed, it was Argento that Ferrari chose to paint the unique Testarossa Spider created in 1986 as a gift for that arbiter of good taste and head of the Fiat empire, Gianni Agnelli.
